In gratitude, Phi honors the kind and generous people of Blue Earth, Minnesota, who welcomed Phi and her family to make a new home after their escape from Viet Nam. At Blue Earth, Phi encountered her first experience of snow, learned to speak the English language, adapted to American life, learned to eat meat. :-)
Sustenance for our bodies is part of spiritual practice. And to cultivate eating with awareness sustains not only our bodies, but deep gratitude for the interconnectedness to all of life. When we sit to enjoy our bowl of food, we often forget the many people, circumstances and conditions that come together to bring that food to our table. More importantly, we forget our beautiful blue earth, the root of nourishment for all we ingest into ourselves.
Blue Earth Lounge offers you healthy nourishment served humbly with Mother Earth as giver and benefactor.
