Beginning Anew Sanctuary

Beginning anew was a practice taught by the Buddha to his sangha (community), offering sangha members a chance to share difficulties that arise within the context of living in a community.  This was usually done once a month, or as needed when situations arose.  Beginning anew was done in the presence of all the members of the sangha.

Thich Nhat Hanh, a Vietnamese Zen Monk, teaches Beginning Anew practices at his retreats to cultivate peace and healing within the individual, within the home, within the community.  And within Agame YMC, Beginning Anew is a special sanctuary in which Phi works with private clients for their own beginning anew moments, their own beginning anew of life.

There is much that has happened in our past that leave imprints in our bodies, hearts, and minds, showing up in ways unsupportive of how we truly want to live our lives in the present moment.  With compassionate, insightful experience and diverse skills, Phi guides individuals and couples to release unwholesome imprints for the blossoming of happiness and beauty.

let us begin anew.
